Spectacle. Something that makes you stand up in awe. A show so captivating that for the duration of the event nothing else seems to matter. There are many ways to achieve this, but in every spectacle there exists one common denominator: Fireworks.
Concerts are accompanied by blazing fireworks highlighting the entrance to the main event. Beyonce, for an example, walks out to deafening applause and brilliant fireworks. Big games in college football always have the team walk out to a fiery blaze on either side of them or booming in the sky above the stadium. Atlanta United, despite their underperforming season, always make a point to erupt the goal-side fireworks for every Atlanta United team goal. They are not necessities, but without them these events would not be as atmospheric. There are also arguments that music is more of a factor for a good atmosphere than fireworks, and while that can be true in some cases, the noise coming from the crowd means music may fall of deafer ears while fireworks feed the eyes that may be starved of interest.
Fireworks are entrancing. Their startling booms are harbingers to decadent displays of color. Every hue in the rainbow is a possibility, every shade a visible treat our eyes are fortunate enough to witness, but technology has made fireworks displays truly magical events. Roaring dragons, massive birds, and other designs our minds can only dream of can be displayed in a brilliant show of colors covering the night as if the sky itself was the canvas. They are a visionary treat perfect for friends or family, and seeing the awe twinkling in each other's eyes with every passing flash of light that illuminates the night is an absolutely beautiful way to end the day.
